BeBee

BeBee es una silla butaca mecedora tanto de interior como de exterior, según qué materiales se seleccionen para su fabricación.

BeBee está inspirada en una abeja con el cuerpo escondido en una flor, y tan solo su abdomen visible al exterior.

Los característicos arcos concéntricos del abdomen de la abeja forman el cuerpo de la butaca. Los arcos concéntricos son de acero en el prototipo, pero podrían ser de madera o alguna aleación metálica ligera, como se muestra en las imágenes.

Los arcos sirven de sujeción bien para una almohada o cojín a medida, como en el prototipo, o para un acabado permanente con algún material que proporcione la ergonomía necesaria, como cuero o tela.

Estos suspenden de un pie o marco, un elemento metálico tubular curvado y hueco en el diseño original, aunque plano en el prototipo por razones de coste, cuya forma proporciona un suave movimiento mecedor.

BeBee is inspired by the bee, and exactly it's black and yellow stripes visible from the top while collecting the flower's nectar. Those characteristic stripes create the base for the seat . The prototype presents the base made ​​of steel, however, the project foresees the use of wood, aluminium or stainless steel, lightweight materials to allow easy mobility. BeeBe is finished with a comfortable cushion of bee-like motive or of a material that provides the necessary ergonomics, such as leather or fabric.

The base is suspended on the sensuously curved stainless steel tube with an oval cross section, the form provides a gentle and relaxing rocking movements.

BeBee jest inspirowany pszczołą, a dokładnie jej czarno żółtymi pasami widocznym z góry podczas zbierania nektaru kwiatowego. Charakterystyczne okrągłe paski pszczoły tworzą siedzisko fotela. Prototyp prezentuje siedzisko wykonane ze stali, projekt przewiduje jednak użycie drewna, aluminium lub stali nierdzewnej, materiałów lekkich ułatwiających mobilność. Wykończone wygodna poduszka z motywami ubarwienia pszczoły lub z materiału, który zapewnia niezbędne ergonomii, takich jak skóra lub tkanina.
