Primer premio y ejecución de la obra para la modernización de la plaza alrededor del monumento a Joseph Wybicki, un famoso poeta, político y activista polaco del siglo XVIII, conocido por ser el autor de la letra del himno nacional polaco.
En opinión del jurado, compuesto por doctores profesores de arquitectura de la Universidad politécnica de Gdansk y miembros del gobierno municipal de Kościerzyna, el proyecto reconcilia todos los elementos requeridos y al mismo tiempo crea un espacio moderno de arquitectura funcional que también puede ser disfrutada por personas con discapacidades.
El proyecto, inspirado en el ala de águila blanca presente en el monumento y en el escudo nacional polaco, añade elementos tridimensionales a un diseño urbano que emanan de manera fluida del pavimento para unirlo todo en un solo concepto.

First prize and project execution for the modernization of the public square surrounding the monument to Joseph Wybicki, a famous polish poet, politician and activist from the late XVIII century, and author of the lyrics in the polish national anthem.
In the jury's opinion, formed by doctors in architecture from the University of Gdansk and members of the city council, the project joins all the required elements and at the same time creates a modern and functional architectural space which can also be enjoyed by the disabled.
The project, inspired on the white eagle's wing which is part of both the monument and the polish national shield, adds three dimensional elements to an urban design which flows effortlessly from the pavement to unite it all in a single concept.

Pierwsze miejsce w konkursie i realizacja projektu na zagospodarowania terenu wokół pomnika Józefa Wybickiego w Kościerzynie, postaci bardzo ważnej w polskiej historii, jako pisarz i poeta, współtwórca Legionów, autor słów „Mazurka Dąbrowskiego", wybitny humanista epoki Oświecenia XVIII wieku, prawnik, poseł i senator.
W opinii sadu konkursowego, w tej pracy udało się pogodzić wszystkie wymagane elementy, a jednocześnie stworzyć nowoczesną przestrzeń z funkcjonalną architekturą przystępną również dla osób niepełnosprawnych.
Projekt zainspirowany był skrzydłem orła białego z pomnika i godła polskiego, nadając trójwymiarowe znaczenia w projekcie, całość wyrasta jednolicie i płynnie z posadzki, zamykając kompozycje w jednolitą spójność.
